I went to Shadle Center last Saturday to buy an iPod. Recently, many people have iPod to listen to music, but I didn't have because I had MD player which is one of mp3 players in Japan and I thought it was enough for me to listen to music. However I noticed everyone around me had an iPod when I was in the airplane to America. Then, I recognized I was an old-fashioned person and I felt embarrass because I did'nt have an iPod . To buy iPod in America is much better than to buy it in Japan because it was cheaper in America.

The day before I went to Shadle Center, I did research about iPods because I had no knowledge of them. I found four kinds of iPods which included iPod touch, iPod classic, iPod nano and iPod shuffle. As I learned about each iPod, I started to want to buy an iPod nano. There were two reasons why I chose the iPod nano. First, iPod nano has various colors so I could choose iPod from 9 colors. Second, I liked the shape of iPod nano which is thin and compact. I thought it would be easier to carry and hold it with my hand. I couldn't wait for the next day would come because I wanted to get an iPod early.

When I went to electrics department in Shadle Center, I was shocked because there were only 5 colors of iPod nanos which were blue, pink, yellow, black and white ones. I expected there were all 9 colors of iPod nanos and I want an iPod whose color was orange. However, I soon decided to buy pink one because I liked pink. Actually, the color of many things around me were pink, for example, my bag, clothes and files. I was so happy that I could buy it at last.

As soon as I came back to my dormitory, I started to upload the songs into my new iPod, but I didn't know how to upload the songs, so I began to study about iPod on the Internet. Soon I could understand how to use the iPod. When I added the songs to my iPod, I was moved because I only had to drag the songs into itunes. After I connected my iPod to the computer, I could listen to music on my iPod. It was the instant when I appreciated the development of technology. Human is very clever and I'm thankful people who invented the computer and iPod. I also found the useful function to use my iPod. Yae taught me the software which was to add the video from You tube into iPod. I added the music video of Japanese famous artist whose name is "EXILE". I can watch the video whenever I want to watch it.

Before I bought my iPod, I had to carry MD which is heavier than iPod and many mini discs for it. It was burden for me when I carried it. In addition, it took a lot of time to add the songs from CD, so MD had a lot of demerits. I'm sure iPod will make my life much easier from now on.
