Grand Canyon Lunch

I ate bread and salad as a lunch while I watching awesome Grand Canyon landscape. It was absolutely delicious. Actually, these are usual bread and salad, but because of the beautiful view, it was very nice.

On this day, we departed very late. It was 11:30. Let me talk about little bit about the time line. I got up at 5:30 to go to Edge of Grand Canyon to watch sunrise. The sunrise was magnificent. We were there till 7:00 or 7: 30. After that, I took a shower and went to buy breakfast and lunch. Then, we made breakfast and lunch, ate breakfast. We bought a big bread and a pack of salad to share with two friends. (Arisa and Natsuki) They made sandwiches. At last we departed. When we reached Grand Canyon, it was almost noon. We had to searched the best place to eat. We wanted to eat at a good point like not so noisy. You know It was very difficult. The place where we can watch great scan were many people. So We wandered about 1 hour. At last we reached one point. (I forgot the name of the place) It was near the mountain road, we could reach entrance. If we had gone down the road, we could have reached the valley. The sign said it will take over 8 hours. Of course we didn’t go on this road. We sat down and looked at the view. We could also watch climbing people. The place was too dusty, but except for this, the place was almost perfect. We ate lunch there. The cheap bread had a marvelous taste and salad tasted excellent, too. I felt wind, I felt sun-shine. I felt as if I am part of the earth. I thought about Native American people. They might eat lunch like us. It was a good time. After a while, the bees began coming. Then, the place was not comfortable any more. So we moved.
As you can see, our lunch was not luxurious, but it was wonderful wasn’t it?
