This week, I had some new experiences. On Tuesday, I went to Washington State University to meet students who study English. Before I went there, I was a little nervous because I had never visited a university in America. My image of university students was not good. I thought they were scary and not friendly. However, my image was wrong. When we arrived there, the WSU teachers greeted us with a smile. Also, the WSU students were very kind and they were easy to to talk to.
I talked with 2 WSU students. They are Japanese and Libyan. It was my first time to talk with a Libyan. When I talked with him, I learned some interesting things. His English was different than American English, British English or Japanese English. His English had distinctive accent, so it was very difficult for me to understand his English. However, I was excited because I could learn some new English that I didn't know before. Also, I learned about a different culture. At lunch time, we went to the student union building, but he didn't go there with us. He couldn't eat lunch because of his religion. His religion is Islam, and one of the Islamic rules is don't eat anything until sunset. I found there were a lot of different people at WSU. It was interesting and I could find new things which I didn't know before. Visiting the WSU was a very good experience for me.

WSU visit was interesting experience for me too.I talked with japanese and Taiwanese. The Taiwanese's English is different too. It was little hardn to understand too,but he was taciturnity, so I didn"t feel so much. I wanted to to talk with him more.
I also wanted to talk with Muslim people. It must be interesting. Because thea have very diffrent culture.
Yes, exactly.
I also think some students have a little difference when they speak English. I think perhaps we also have it.So often it happens to me when I speak English. It means people can't understand what I say.
