Amazing Students

We visited WSU on September 16th. It was my first time to visit there, so I was looking forward very much to visiting there and talking with International students.

International students in my group were a Libyan and a Japanese. The Libyan was speaking English with a foreign accent, so it was difficult for me to understand his English. But I heard that people from Saudi Arabia or Libya speak English without worried about their grammar mistakes. When I speak English, I really think about my grammar mistakes. I think a lot of Japanese are similar. But I think we have to follow their example. We should make a lot of mistakes. People improve their English overcoming the mistakes.

The other international student is Japanese and almost same age to me, so it is easy to talk to her. She has a dream to work at a hotel, so she is studying very hard. She also has a purpose to study abroad. It is to learn hospitality. She thinks American have it. When they enter a room, they open for next person. In Japan there are few people who can do this. In America we can learn these kind of things, so she is studying abroad. I want to learn these kind of things naturally.

There are variety of people at WSU. I thought I met the whole world and this is kind of "Salad Bowl". All of students sparkled. It was very interesting for me and gave me more high motivation to study English.
