Drinking Age
Drinking age depends on countries. In Japan, the drinking age is 20 years old now. However, recently there was a plan to change to 18years old. In America, I heard that the drinking age is 21 years old, but smoking age is younger than that. However, some states in the U.S. are different. I don't know why drinking age is 21, but smoking age is different. In Japan, drinking age is 20 years old, but most Japanese bars don't ask customers to show I.D., so if you are not 20 years old, you may be able to drink. It's really strange. Recently, law of smoking changed in Japan. You cannot smoke until 20years old, and you cannot buy tobacco without ID even if you want to buy it from a vending machine. Tax for tobacco is argued to change higher than now. It's getting harder to smoke in Japan, but I think it's good for humans not to smoke. Therefore, some people in Japan stop smoking. I think it's a kind of difficult thing for them, but it's good for their health and it's also good for people around them.
