How are you?

Hi, guys! How are you doing? Now, I enjoy my life in Japan, but also I miss MFWI life with YOU! However, I'm doing some things to try to keep up my English.

During my part-time job, there are many tourists from mostly China, so I speak English to explain how to make CUP NOODLE. (It's my job, CHECK IT OUT!http://www.nissin-noodles.com/) When I learned "World Englishes", Bridget and Barbara told us English is used for the communication with not only native English speaker, but also people who speak English as a second language. Now I do think so too. English is like very useful connector among people from all over the world.

Also, when I go to karaoke, I always sing my favorite songs sung by English. It sounds very tough, but I think The Beatles songs are easy to sing. I recommend it because every your friend thinks you are really clever!! lol

Hi Shoko. Hey, hey, hey! I think it's great you are using your skills in English communication at your job. I still remember your Nissin noodle guide talk you shared with us (Oh, I wish I had a cup of Japanese noodles now!). We are still digging out from the snow that seems to never stop. I saw Mr. Griffith yesterday at work, and he looks great. I hope you are able to meet he and Barbara when they are in Nishinomiya in January.

Keep up the 'Englishes' and say hello to the other students for me as well.

Keep writing. I will check this periodically throughout the break.
