Delightful Party Gathering

Last Thursday night, students had a special event. We wore interesting costumes and went to the Halloween party at Commons. Our group members wore Harry Potter costumes. The characters of My group members were Harry, Ron, Hermione, Dumbledore, Voldemort, Dobby, Snape, McGonagall, Malfoy and Mad-Eye Moody. My character was Hagrid. I chose him because I wanted to wear a beard. Before the Halloween party, I was excited because I had never experienced such a party. When we reached Commons, we entered a small haunted house. The house was handmade, and inside was very dark and we couldn't see anything very well. Suddenly, someone screamed and surprised us. However, I wasn't surprised. Then, near the end of the haunted house, suddenly a gorilla appeared and it touched me. That surprised me!

After we reached the end, we entered the main hall in Commons. It was a little dark and there were many people who were wearing interesting costumes. We could see many Toy Story and Peter Pan characters. Their costumes were very good, but I thought costumes of our group were the best. There were some small cakes and drinks at the party. They looked delicious. However, I couldn't eat them because my beard was in the way. I could only drink water. When we were just standing, Someone said to us "Can I take a picture of you?" We said "OK" and took a picture. I thought we were like real characters of Harry Potter. Finally, RAs chose the group with the best costumes. Then, one of my group members was chosen. We was surprised and screamed. She was Dobby. She got some chocolate. After that we danced a little and the party was finished. It was very fun and I really enjoyed it. It was a very good party.
