On November 4th , we celebrated a culture day at MFWI this day is Bunka no hi, Barbara's conversation class students topic was Sumo and my job was to make Sumo wrestler's wig so I prepared one. In 4th class on that day I went to Adams Elementary School to explain about Sumo but they already known Sumo, so I was surprised.
In my presentation group, there are 5 people but they are from all other teacher's conversation class student so had to teach rule and how to play Sumo alone so I was very nervous. We prepared 2 kinds of Sumo activities which are real Sumo and paper Sumo. In general speaking, I thought boys are interested in sports than girls, but at this school actually girls were so active when I explained about Sumo, so they asked many questions and played Sumo with them. At first, my group mates demonstrated Sumo but it was little bit scary because they enjoyed by themselves so it heated very much. So sometime elementary students scared of Sumo but synthetically I think they could enjoy it.

Hi, Ai.
It's interesting fact girls were excited in Sumo. Is it similar to that we were excited in basketball in Portland? Also, it’s fanny fact students were heating with Sumo… Anyway, it’s nice all of them enjoyed it!
